Beach Days
Nothing much to blog, though I've been tagged by Melissa of Waking Up, so I need to get to that before too long. For now just some pictures from a recent trip to Wallis Sands State Park in Rye, NH. No better way to spend a 93 degree day...

Your kids take to the water like naturals! Your little one looks so teeny in that water!
My husband makes that exact face in almost every picture I take. He says it's because I either take too many pictures, or I don't tell him to smile. Come on.
He's totally wrong. He doesn't care, but I tell him that anyway.

Yes, Hannelie, it was a great time! The kids just love the water...though it was ICE cold. Even too cold for me, and I can swim in anything...
Melissa-that's funny you mentioned the face he's making because Ernesto said, "what's with that face I'm making?" I think it was actually a combo of the wind in his face and him trying to pull back out of frame a little because I was so close to him while taking the picture. I liked how it came out, though. And you can see my son, running like a tiny madman down the beach in the background. Needless to say I was pretty tired at the end of that day.

Seems like everyone's at the beach these days! We just spent a week in Western Washington, most of it on the beaches of Olympic National Park.
I can feel summer's end approaching. :(
