Two Cool
The Loaf turned two last week and on Saturday we had a smashing party in her honor. Family and close friends gathered and a great time was had by all. We discovered our house can hold a lot of people without falling down, and that people love to dress up little girls in cute clothes. Sofia is well outfitted for a toddler pageant and if I were a different sort of mother, she'd be crowned in them all. We'll keep the modeling in the living room for now and here she is displaying the latest in toddler chic. She's 2 kool 4 skool...Oh, and for the record that is not someone kicking my daughter in the head. They were just showing off their fancy shoes.

Ouch!
Glad she had a nice birthday party. It seems that for many little girls, the desire to do a little "stylin" on your birthday is pretty common. I'm not sure whether it really ever goes away…

Oh, hey, I think I remember that skit...my sisters and I used to love to listen to that show...yeah, Sofia was very tolerant of everyone dressing her up. One person put on her hat, another put on the sunglasses...she just sort of went with the flow. She had that little purple teddy bear and we all agreed that she looked like she was headed to a Grateful Dead concert.

I know those shoes - those are my husband's feet. She's lucky he's wearing shoes. Otherwise, they smell very badly.

I don't believe for a second that his feet are stinky...he's far too well groomed for that. Now yours, on the other hand...tee hee!
