...you are so incredibly excited the repair guys are coming to fix your chimney flues and that is not even remotely as sexually suggestive as it sounds.
You are all so funny. And yes, we are all kind of old and sad.
So day one of chimney repair is done. They got out all the old flue tiles and it wasn't as loud as I thought it would be, although the cat was sufficiently freaked out. My good friend Annette was kind enough to let us hide out at her house so the kids could actually take a nap someplace quiet. Tomorrow the rest of the liners go in and we are actually getting a wood stove insert in the basement which we are quite exicted about. Weather permitting, they may be able to finish the detail work on the top of the chimney. We'll see how it goes. And since it's already all cleared off, tonight I'm going to repaint the mantle! Rock on! Do I know how to party or what???

Can you send them to my house next? I know exactly how you feel. Guess that makes me...also old.

Hey, I have a weekly celebration every Tuesday morning.
That's Garbage Day in my neighborhood. It just feels soooo goooood to get all the trash out of our house.

I recently jumped up and down when I found a handsoap pump with fish decor on it. My bathroom is fish-themed so that made my WEEK!
